Membership in the Serene Lakes Property Owners Association

As the name implies, membership in the Serene Lakes Property Owners Association (SLPOA) is for owners of real property in the Serene Lakes community. The Bylaws designate that there can only be one membership for each property and that the members under that membership must be listed on the title for that property to qualify for membership. Each membership has only one vote in any SLPOA elections.

To obtain a membership in the association a yearly dues payment is required. This is a one-time payment due at the beginning of each year. Currently dues are $125 for each developed property and $70 for an undeveloped property. This dues payment is the cost of membership and  covers membership for the entire calendar year unless the property is sold, in which case the membership is terminated because the now former members are no longer property owners. The dues payment is not prorated or refundable. 

Membership in SLPOA entitles the qualified members with that membership to all the benefits provided by the Association (see the benefits by clicking here). As a community organization, SLPOA depends entirely on its members and you are encouraged to participate in all events and to join your neighbors as volunteers to benefit the entire community.
